At W.A.Y we pride ourselves on our breeding policy. Our mushers only breed their dogs when they are building their racing teams, so we don't always have sled dog pups specifically on site. Instead, we work with the Whitehorse Humane Society to assist with fostering puppies as they wait for the "fur-ever" home. This allows for incredible social opportunities for the pups before being adopted and a wonderful guest experience as well. We think it is a win-win!
